How much does window cleaning cost?
It depends on three things: how many windows you have, how many stories the house is, and whether you want the inside cleaned as well as the outside. We give you a fixed price before any work starts, and it doesn't change unless you add something. Quotes are free and there's no charge for coming out to look.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
Twice a year suits most homes around here. Spring clears the salt film and grime that builds up over a Lake County winter; fall takes off the pollen and summer dust before the light gets low and every mark starts showing. Homes under heavy trees, near open fields, or on a sprinkler system often want a third visit.
Do I need to be home?
Not for exterior work — we can do the outside while you're out, as long as we can get to the windows. Interior cleaning needs someone there to let us in.
What exactly is included?
Glass cleaned and hand-finished, screens removed and washed, sills and tracks vacuumed out and wiped, frames wiped down, and cobwebs cleared from the corners. Screens, sills, and tracks are part of the job rather than an add-on.
Can you get rid of hard water spots?
Usually. Sprinkler overspray leaves mineral deposits that ordinary washing won't shift, and we can treat most of it. Where the glass has been etched over years, some marking may not come out completely — we'll tell you that when we quote, not after you've paid.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Walk around with us at the end and check. Anything that isn't right, we come back and redo it at no charge.
